- Do my customers need to download an app?
- No. The QR code opens your menu in whatever browser is already on the customer's phone. They browse, pay by UPI and track the order without installing anything. Your staff do not install anything either — the kitchen screen, the cash counter and the public token board are all web pages that run on a phone, tablet, laptop or browser-capable TV you already own.
- Does the money come to me directly, or through the software company?
- Directly. UPI payments settle into your own Razorpay or Cashfree merchant account, which we help you open and verify at no charge during setup. Fooduru never holds your money and takes no percentage of it. This is the difference worth checking with any vendor, and particularly with ordering platforms that started as delivery businesses — ask whether funds route through their account before reaching yours.
- Will it work in Kannada?
- Yes, on both sides of the counter. The customer's QR menu switches between English and ಕನ್ನಡ with one tap, with a real Kannada name stored against every dish rather than a machine translation done at page load, and the cashier screen can be switched to Kannada independently per device.
