Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 July 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern use of Fooduru, a product of Antarya Technologies (the legal entity providing the platform), by restaurant owners/staff (“Restaurant”) and diners placing orders through a restaurant's Fooduru menu (“Diner”). By using Fooduru you agree to these terms.
2. What Fooduru provides
A QR-based ordering menu, UPI payment collection direct to the Restaurant's own payment-gateway account, a kitchen ticket dashboard, and a public token/queue board. Fooduru is a software platform, not a delivery service, food preparer, or party to the sale of food — the Restaurant is solely responsible for food quality, pricing, fulfilment, and compliance with FSSAI and other applicable food-safety law.
3. Restaurant pilot & subscription
Restaurants may be onboarded under a free pilot period, after which continued use is subject to the subscription terms agreed with Fooduru at the time. Fooduru will give reasonable notice before any pricing change takes effect for an existing Restaurant.
4. Payments
Diner payments are processed by our payment partners (Razorpay/Cashfree) and settle directly to the Restaurant's own account; Fooduru does not hold or take custody of customer funds. Order confirmation only occurs after the payment provider's signed webhook confirms success — refunds, cancellations, and disputes over a specific order are the Restaurant's responsibility, though Fooduru will assist with the underlying payment records where needed.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Fooduru to defraud diners or restaurants, attempt to bypass payment verification, scrape or abuse the platform, or interfere with other restaurants' use of the service.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Kitchen and admin clients are expected to handle brief reconnects; Fooduru is not liable for losses arising from short service interruptions outside our reasonable control.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Fooduru's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the fees paid by the Restaurant to Fooduru in the three months preceding the claim. Fooduru is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Termination
Either party may stop using Fooduru at any time. We may suspend an account for abuse, non-payment, or breach of these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
