Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Fooduru is a QR ordering, payments, and kitchen-workflow platform for restaurants, built and operated by Antarya Technologies (“Fooduru”, “we”, “us”), the legal entity that owns and operates the platform. This policy covers both the restaurant owners who subscribe to Fooduru and the diners who place orders through a restaurant's Fooduru menu.

2. What we collect

• Diners: order contents, pickup token, and — only when a restaurant requires it for order updates or OTP verification — your phone number. We do not require an account or password to place an order.
• Restaurant owners & staff: name, email/mobile, business details (restaurant name, address, GSTIN/FSSAI if provided), menu content, and staff device identifiers used for kitchen-dashboard authentication.
• Payments: we never see or store your card, UPI PIN, or banking credentials. Payments are processed directly by our payment partners (Razorpay/Cashfree); Fooduru only receives a signed confirmation that a payment succeeded.
• Device/technical data: standard web request logs, and a locally-stored (your device's browser storage) copy of your active order so it survives a page refresh.

3. How we use it

To take and fulfil orders, route tickets to the correct kitchen counter, confirm payments, show live order/token status, and let restaurant owners manage their menu, staff, and sales. We do not sell personal data to third parties, and we do not use diner data for advertising.

4. Payments

Fooduru never holds customer funds. Money paid by a diner goes to the restaurant's own payment-gateway account; our backend only verifies the payment provider's signed webhook before confirming an order — frontend “payment success” signals are never trusted on their own.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Fooduru — payment gateways (Razorpay/Cashfree), our hosting/database provider, and, where a restaurant enables it, delivery or notification partners. We do not sell or rent personal data.

6. Data retention

Order records are retained for as long as needed for the restaurant's accounting/GST records and dispute handling. You can ask us to delete personal data associated with you, subject to legal record-keeping requirements, by contacting us below.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by writing to us at the contact below. Restaurant owners can review and export their own restaurant's data from their admin dashboard at any time.
