Setup is free. There is no hardware to buy.
No kiosk, no billing machine, no POS terminal. Fooduru runs in the browser on what you already have — your customers order on their own phones, your kitchen screen runs on any tablet or laptop, and the thermal printer already on your counter simply pairs. The few optional physical extras below are passed on at cost; none of them is needed to go live.

What Fooduru never charges you
No commission
Not a rupee of your order value. Aggregators take 18–30% of every plate; Fooduru takes 0%.
No per-order fee
Serve 50 orders a day or 500 — the subscription is the same. Fooduru does not add a per-order platform fee. Payment-provider charges and usage-based voice add-on charges are separate.
No setup fee
Menu digitisation, counters, branding, payment-gateway onboarding and staff training are included.
Your customers pay by UPI straight into your own Razorpay or Cashfree merchant account. Standard payment-gateway charges are set by that provider and are not collected by Fooduru.

- Does Fooduru charge commission on orders?
- No. Fooduru charges a flat quarterly or annual subscription and takes no percentage of your sales. UPI payments settle directly into your own merchant account through Razorpay or Cashfree — Fooduru never holds your money, so there is no aggregator cut on any plate you sell.
- Is there a setup fee?
- No. Onboarding, digitising your printed menu, setting up counters and business hours, staff training and payment-gateway integration are all included at no charge — and so is pairing a thermal printer you already own, provided it speaks ESC/POS, takes 80 mm or 58 mm paper and connects by USB or Bluetooth LE. Optional physical extras are also quoted separately — QR standees, printed flyers, or a thermal printer if you do not already own one — and those are passed on at cost, not marked up.
- Do I need to buy any hardware?
- No. Customers order on their own phones, so there is no kiosk and no ordering device to buy. The kitchen screen and token board are web pages — any tablet, laptop or spare Android phone runs them, and a TV with a browser will show the token board. If you already have a thermal printer we pair it free, provided it speaks ESC/POS, takes 80 mm or 58 mm paper and connects by USB or Bluetooth LE. If you have no printer, you can still take orders without one.
- Is there a free trial?
- No. Fooduru does not offer a free trial. - Ordering pauses at the end of your paid period, after a one-day grace period. Your menu, order history and sales reports are retained, so restarting is a payment rather than a fresh setup.
